What initial insights or observations of the text do you have? *What does this passage reveal about who Jesus is? What does it reveal about His identity? *“All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made (John 1:3).” What is John saying there? *Jesus, is the eternal Son of God. What does it mean that He is eternal? What is the significance of this? *When we consider the identity of the One who came into this world to save us, how should that reality impact us? *What are some things we can do in this week leading up to Christmas to keep Christ first, and not overlook the importance of the season? *Consider taking time to pray, asking God by His Holy Spirit to help us to keep our focus on Jesus in this season. Pray that God would help us to love Him more because of who He is and what He has done.
