Seven Shared Values

Churches within Sovereign Grace share a certain family resemblance, because each local church shares a common, biblical doctrine. Our churches embrace the following seven scriptural convictions – that we are reformed, gospel-centered, continuationist, complementarian, elder-governed, united in mission, and interdependent. We believe these distinctives are a faithful application of what the Word of God teaches and shapes our local practices and ministries regardless of context. They define what it means to be a Sovereign Grace church. In this series we’ll walk through each of these biblical values to understand how the scriptures bring clarity to the mission and purpose of the church.
